A new fan group is formed on Facebook, Fans of the Marcus Eaton Trio

The group is dedicated to widen the knowledge of Marcus Eaton and Marcus Eaton Trio throughout the world - and there will be updates on the upcoming new CD, and performance dates for the trio.

Marcus Eaton Trio is an acoustic trio, with the members:
Marcus Eaton - Vocals/Guitars
Kevin Rogers - Drums
Garrett Sayers - Bass

To listen to their music, to decide if this is music for you, then go and join the fan group at Facebook - The bigger we get, the better chances is there, that M.E.T. will get to play outside the US, and the bigger is the chances, that M.E.T. will get to play at the bigger venues, not only in the US, but also, when they in due time come to Europe.

M.E.T. is currently in the studio, where new music is recorded. We will post any news, as soon as we get them from Marcus himself, or from the M.E.T. management.

A little bit of history:
Besides playing headlining shows, then Marcus Eaton Trio has opened for an array of acts including Jewel, Bob Dylan, Train, Victor Wooten, Buckethead, Tim Reynolds, The Dave Matthews Band, Derek Trucks Band, John Mayer, Counting Crows, Edwin McCain, Ozomatli, Young Dubliners, Michael Franti & Spearhead, New Monsoon, Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, Sheryl Crow, Guster, Ben Taylor Band, Nils Lofgren, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Gin Blossoms, Jake Shimabukuro and Blackalicious.

Right now
Marcus Eaton Trio just finished up a tour with Tim Reynolds & his rock trio, TR3. Tim is the highly-acclaimed guitarist with Dave Matthews Band, and the other half of the exquisite Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds body of work and performances.

The tour began in Boulder, CO at the Fox Theatre on 1/28/09 wove through Denver, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs, Aspen, Tucson, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Solana Beach, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Arcata, Portland, Eugene, Bend, Tacoma and Seattle.

As mentioned above, then M.E.T. currently is in the studio. They have been in the studio for 2 days, and is almost done with the rhythm parts. The fan group on Facebook will updated, as soon as there’s news from the studio.
